This may sound crazy, but during fasting I am obsessed with the food network. I love planning what I am going to eat once I brake my fast. I just started a batch of sourkrout. It will be ready for me when I start refeeding.
I don't know if menu planning would help you or not, it's been a nice distraction for me.
Reading, and Netflix binges are always good too. I am also trying to walk a mile a day (per my Dr's advice), my garden is getting focased attention as well.
I think anything you normally enjoy doing is a good way to fill your time.
