This responds to your PM to me.  Am posting on the forums since others often ask similar questions about Ivermectin.

Do not split your Ivermectin dose into different times of the day.

For maximum effect, take your dose (pills, paste, or gel) all at once, with water or beverage, without food, preferably before bedtime when the parasites become more active in the bloodstream.

Your dose of 12mg is correct.  Don't be concerned about absolute measurement; any overage would be better than less.

You have been very helpful thus far.
I wanted to ask you about ivermectin.
I took a 12 mg dose of Ivermectin in 3mg pills for 7 days... ( my energy increased dramatically).
Then,I switched to the Ivermectin Horse Gel..for $$ reasons..
My questions are:
1) I took the pills on an empty stomach and the horse paste you recommend taking with some food, will it effect the absorption?

Also, would you recommend splitting the dose of Ivermectin paste in 1/2 and taking half in the morning and the other half in the evening.. or should I take one dose all at once in the am?

Also, when I take the correct dose of Ivermectin Horse Gel, according to my weight which is 138 lbs, am I actually getting 12 mgs ( the correct amound of Ivermectin) in each dose?
