Why do you assume that you MUST have pain to have an chronic infection? I have had lots of health issues and most have gotten better since I cleaned up my jaw.
Yesterday I had cavitations on both lower wisdom teeth cleaned out. They showed up on the cavitat.
I have met many people with cavitations and I really don't remember anyone speaking of pain from the infection.
You clearly don't need pain and they don't always show up on xray and they can cause chronic issues elsewhere in the body. ( ask any knee surgeon)
The key to treatment is to go to a dentist or doctor who finds and treats them on a regular basis.
My opinion itching on face is most likely cavitations and then the cure is getting rid of cavitation.
