Re: PCA-RX great for mercury poisoning.
I know I am replying 10 years late, but I want to discuss PCA with others who have used it and one of those people is you. What do you think of the legal decision against Maxam Nutraceutics? Did Maxam have any chance at all, or could the company have tried harder to conform to what the government wanted? I have mixed feelings about it. It seems that everyone involved could have tried harder to accommodate each other's wishes, including Maxam and the FDA. Some (but definitely not all) of the FDA's demands were absurd (like telling Maxam to change the name from "PCA-RX" to "PCA," as if the "RX" would make people think it was a prescription drug). Maxam's combative stance wasn't helpful, and even though Maxam's products were good, I still think their claims were exaggerated. Why say a good thing is even better than it already is? People were already buying it.
Have you found any replacements for PCA? I have read about two products that appear similar, NDF from Bioray and Metal-Free from BodyHealth. In describing Metal-Free, BodyHealth mentions a process that seems similar to what Maxam called "clathration," but without using that word. I have not used either NDF or Metal-Free so I can't vouch for them.
That's it. I know I'm late to reply. I'm just curious about how Maxam's former customers are doing, because I'm one of them. I used PCA for years to treat my Aspergers and it made me feel much better, more alert and focused. You're right. PCA is good.
