To shave or not to shave?

This is my first time posting, though I've been reading posts from this forum for some time now. Thank you everyone for all the insights you have shared.

I've suffered with folliculitis for 8 years now. I've done many Antibiotics , none of which cured my condition. I've done many of the home remedies listed here and elsewhere: paleo, oregano, tea tree oil, etc. They seem to work for a while and then they don't.

However, I haven't tried shaving my head yet. I've heard some had success with this. I thought before I shave it that I would check to see if there's been anyone with long term success with shaving? Tweet
