Right Kidney Pain - Pesticides?

After eating only yu choy with white rice and soy sauce for a month (didn't eat anything else) I developed right kidney pain I improved a little by discontinuing the soy sauce but still have significant right kidney pain It occurs to me it may be because I failed to wash the yo choy, i was just boiling it From now on I'll wash it I'm hoping that was the problem Someone told me I was overdosing on vitamin a with this diet but someone else countered that plants are not vitamin a sources but rather beta-carotene sources which your body uses to synthesize vitamin a and that your body will only synthesize vitamin a from beta-carotene as needed, and therefore an overdose of vitamin a from plants is impossible I ate carrots and rice last night instead of yu choy but I still have a couple of pounds of yu choy in the fridge that I plan to eat Anyone can help me figure out why my kidney hurts Thanks
