Re: Fasting after an operation

Hello Chris,

It seems you know a lot about fasting and healing, so I would like to ask you a question about my case, if you don't mind!
I did a surgery on my knee 4 weeks ago, where 40% of one of my menisci was cut out (as it was teared) and also an overgrowth on my bone. I was diagnosed osteoarthritis grade II-III, to my big surprise.

I want to do a long Water Fast to cure (40 days?) and wonder if now, after the surgery, would be a good time to start it? I am very experienced in fasting, but am uncertain if the body does not need nourishment from outside to build up tissue at this moment?

Thank you very much in advance for your answer! :)

All the best,
Lila
