I still take a 250 pound dose half mid morning and half before bed 3days on 1day off I weigh 200 pounds . Ivermectin has a 12to 16 hour half life. The only time I don't follow this protocol of ivermectin is when I do my once a month 5 day fenbendazole double dose ,but after fenbendazole I go right back to ivermectin . Next month I start on moxidectin only once a month as after fully researching its testing on Humans it has a half life of twenty plus days with no reported adverse effects. Memorial Day weekend is my 1year anniversary of finding out that I had strongyloides and been on wormers since . I am healthy enough to start moxidectin and it only needs to be taken once a month ,so I will stop all ivermectin for a while, but I will take fenbendazole two weeks after moxidectin so I am targeting the heavy burden of encysted ones I still have. I will continue this protocol for a few months and go from there. This is what my vet peeps have changed it to . Overheating your body by working out or working in 93 degree heat outdoors sure wakes up the encysted ones . With all the meds I take they don't live long , rashes only last a few hours then gone no other symptoms . The encysted ones are pesky but nothing compared to what I had and I will never get like that again thanks to ICUs protocol to start( first six months) and my vet peeps who are guiding me thru the heavy encysted burden I am still exterminating.
