Like everyone else, I am so sick of being sick, I don't know what to do. And like everyone else, I go to the doctors for checkups and they always so how "healthy" I am - except for my reoccurring UTIs - which they can't figure out and I have. At that point, I almost rip their heads off. If they had this stuff, they would be looking for a cure. Last week, I went to the GI guy to schedule my colonoscopy. He asked if I had any concerns. Could have kept him for days....Mentioned systemic candida and wanted to know if he had many patients that had this - he said he has come across a few - totally do not believe. Said he wouldn't give me meds for the Kidney infection and had no advice on the candida. Meanwhile, I looked up to see he was one of Washingtonians Top Docs. Really???? Asked if I had seen an infectious disease specialist at say Johns Hopkins. Went home, did research and found a Dr. Kieren Marr that specializes in "invasive fungal diseases" Bingo! Looks like she has her own medical group doing research for a solution. I am trying to make an appointment, does anyone have any intel?
