Really

It is true that forum owners and forum moderators have privilege to edit any message inside a forum.

It is also considered a good practice for any forum moderator to mark any message that was edited with the next text:
[Edited by Moderator]

So far, 99% of Curezone moderators prefer to use one single click function "Hide Message" or "Delete Message" on messages they consider spam,
rather than spending time to edit a message, remove a link or whatever else is considered a spam, and upfate the existing message.

Just because someone has ability to do something, does not mean someone is doing it.

I, as a webmaster, have a privilege to edit any message in any forum and any blog.

The last time I have used that privilege was one month ago to correct spelling and grammatical errors in a message that fully deserved BSA designation.

Some messages deserve my time, other messages are best deleted or left alone with no time wasted.

Moderators may sometimes choose to edit a good message, and just remove the abusive part, or part containing 4 letter words.
