Who else feels their immune system when they fast ?
How much do other people on this board feel their immune system when they fast?
I feel mine a lot, as people who have read my previous posts have probably figured out.
I know from reading elsewhere that when the immune system attacks and kills damaged cells it gets 'sensed' by the nervous system and transmitted to the brain as pain in the same way a pin prick would.
I'm just wondering who else on here feels their white blood cells working when they are fasting? I don't recall many people talking about it when recounting their fasts, just people saying things like 'my eyes became more swollen'
Maybe my body is super sensitive to it. I find it very useful as it is feedback as to what is healing and I can feel how deep the healing is. I can also feel my immune system is elevated for months after a long fast as I feel very deep healing pains still even when not fasting, or in the morning before I get out of bed.
The liver and brain don't have pain sensing nerves but when fasting I can still feel a fizzing sensation in those areas which indicates to me the immune system is still healing that area and it is being sensed some-how-else.
Strangely the most obvious case of when I felt my immune system healing was during my first ever dry fast at about the 36 hour mark when I felt what can only be described as like being stabbed in my right kidney by a needle connected to 100 volt power supply, the nervous system working via electric signals which can be sensed as electricity if enough nerves are triggered at the same time.
I have nothing to gain from making any of this up, I would be interested to hear about other peoples stories of feeling their immune system working while fasting...
