Teardrop shapes on thumbnails

I've recently noticed teardrop shapes going down my thumbnails, more so on the right than the left. All of my nails are also deeply ridged (vertical) which I've read about extensively and think I probably have a mineral deficiency. I'm wondering if the teardrop shapes are related or if it's due to some other problem. Has anyone heard of or experienced this? Tweet
