Re: dmps iv & edta iv

I started out doing DMPS (and some DMSA and much later ALA) i.v., which brought amazing results.

However, after about 1.5 years of firts monthly, later bi-monthly treatments I started experimenting with the Cutler method. Now in year 5 I do Cutler, and every 6 months or so another DMPS i.v.

The problem that got me to Cutler was that the effect of DMPS i.v. was less and less - as it should be, after 1.5 years. But I still had problems especially in the head, and when doing Cutler rounds I was able to get real work done.

It seemed that I benefited from continuous presence of chelators, but the justification for doing DMPS i.v. was the opposite direction - less and less frequently (as it should be!).

My conclusion after doing both:

Cutler helped me a lot in daily live, DMPS i.v. only left me without help between the treatments.

However, even though the effect of DMPS i.v. is really small (as it should be by now!) I still seem to need it occasionally. There are areas that when doing Cutler rounds don't get better, but where DMPS really shines. My eyes for example. DMPS i.v. seems superior. And kidneys and kidney area pain (I had them checked by a nephrologist, they are in a state "consistent with my age"). I can't describe them all (takes too long), but some nasty issues develop from round to round that one sweep of DMPS i.v. removes, even though Cutler rounds help in other areas.


So in MY experience, I want BOTH methods. At least for me they seem to supplement one another.
