Regarding the highly important factor of level of gifting, if we imagine Lord Jesus visiting in the flesh in 2015 with the level of gifting He had while walking the earth 2000 years ago and praying for this man in the wheelchair, i am deeply confident that this man would be instantly healed, but if Paul who was not able to heal timothy, trophimus or others had prayed for this man, more than likely, he would not have been healed, even though many other people paul would pray for at the conference would be, just as was true 2000 years ago including the many successful miracle healings he prayed on the island of Malta towards the very end of the book of Acts in chapter 28. Being realistic, (and should we not look with honest eyes?), for those with gift of healing today at varying levels, for most or maybe for all, the level of gifting they have is more comparable to that of what Paul had than to that of what Lord Jesus had.
