Sebborheic cap removal!
I was afflicted with severe sebborheic dermatitis for many many years but was unaware I had the condition. This past winter many strange things began happening to me and as well my dog. We had same symptoms day for day. My skin was pulled so tight as the fungus had grown over all the areas where a person would generally sweat and finally it reached my scalp. My late August my hair was falling out, by October I was getting so cold I could hardly stand to be outdoors. My Shepard dog who enjoys long winter walks was enduring the same symptoms. I noticed a big white round bald spot on the top of my head one morning that wasn't consistent with the amount of hair loss I had experienced. Within a week I appeared totally bald but knew I wasn't totally bald because I have very long thick hair and did not lose enough to be bald. My hands and feet were white and numb. I went to the hospital and the doctor refered me to a psychiatrist after I tried to explain what was happening to me and my dog. I spent the next few months home, off work alone with my dog not seeking medical treatment because I even questioned my sanity. My cognitive function was poor we could not hear taste or smell very well. I researched canine to human diseases and one day came across SD. By this time I had so many similar symptoms of SD so I began treatment shampoos ect.. My dog and I would get abit of relief and gradually things were feeling better. But still I had this cap over my head that not only made me look bald but also was emitting noxious gas. Brushing my dog next to my Carbon dioxide detector would set it off. If there were fresh flowers in the same room as us they would droop within 24 hours.. I then realized the fungus was off gassing as fungas' do but becuz I had no areas to push it out I wAZ filled with gas. I was put in tetracycline by my doctor but he had no clue about the cap. He just thought all my hair was gone. I spent hours of the day and night obsessing trying to brush out the little hair I had and was able to see more hair under the cap but couldn't get it out. My hair was as if it were glued to and inside my ears, up my nose in my mouth. One day I noticed that if I brushed my hair in the standard way I normally would it would make my plant droop but if I brush my hair from the very back and up wards my plant would livin up in a big way. I took this as a sign and just using my fingers began to pull upwards at the hair on the very back of my neck. More and more hair would appear from this place and the gas began leaving my body. I'm posting this because I wish I would have known this a long time ago. It's a slow process having had such long hair. I'm a day into it and will let everyone know if the cap or the gas gets lifted. I already have a lot more hair on my head. Has anyone experienced anything like this??
