inflation would be only one risk. even with that, in today's world, do you really think that a few algorithms can stop TPTB from rigging something like bitcoin? imho, that view seems to be ignoring current events.

then there is the issue of control. the little guy cannot compete with the cyber power of the big players, including government. How hard would it be really to cut someone off from their 'bitcoin' or cut off their ability to transact any business whatsoever once that person has been targeted? again, imho, all too easy...

in short, bitcoin is a dead end, brought to by the same criminals running the show, for now...
