Couldn't make it past day 1:(

I am a complete newbie, however did all the research, bought the book, read a ton of posts and felt mentally and physically prepared to take on the MC. The night before I took the detox tea, the next morning I did the saltwater flush with no results, but I did make the mistake of having iodized Sea Salt which I was going to change, then started with the lemonaide. I liked the taste of the lemonaide for the first 3 drinks. By early afternoon, I was having a horrible headache and I made another lemonaide to take with me to a parade. In the car on the way there, I started having waves of nausea and my head hurt so bad. I tried to sip the lemonaide but for some reason it didn't taste good to me. As we were reaching the sight of the parade I felt so sick, I told my husband I wasn't sure I was going to be able to go to the parade or stay on this diet. All of a sudden, I had to make a mad dash out of the car and started vomiting on the grass. What really surprised me was how much I vomited up. It was like I vomited up all the lemonaides I had drank. Once I got all of that out of me, drinking my current lemonaide was out of the question. Just the thought of it made me sick. My head was still pounding but my stomach felt so much better. I made it through the parade (for the sake of my 2 yr old son) and I sipped some of my husbands diet coke and ate my sons goldfish on the way home. My head was still hurting when we got back home and by then, I knew I wasn't going to be able to continue, I took 2 excedrine and made myself 2 bean burritos. And bam, my headaches were gone. Does anyone have any idea what went wrong? I was so excited to do this and now I feel so disappointed in myself that I couldn't even make one day! AND I also feel that I really couldn't do it again because now the lemonaide sounds so awful to me. ANY SUGGESTIONS??? Thank you
