I have heard of mothers using their own water because it was hard to collect from the child for one reason or another. Using breast milk is good idea and coconut is a good choice also. Make sure you are rubbing it in lightly and once that drys do a couple more coats and let absorb completely, don't wash off. Also make sure you're using gentle soap without chemicals. Give it at least two weeks of consistent applications. Usually for skin issues you'll see initial results but the more noticeable results you should see in a week to two weeks. If you can have him drink alot of water and try to catch it that may work. Using your own I don't think it would be too much of a problem if you don't exceed two weeks, but you best ask a professional on that as I'm not sure. The only other thing I could think of is maybe if you have another son or his dad who you could collect from that would allow for continued treatment. Both drinking the waters and applying them on his skin would be beneficial. Best of luck
