Re: Not so much
WisingUp, I do believe God covers all the bases, and can use any animal or organism, and many mysterious ways to reach us.
Denial, Your cancer concerns are appreciated and not taken lightly... You may think I'm foolish and wasting my time, but I've chosen to focus on these fungal threads because I believe they are a predatory fungus that ~may~ be helpful than harmful.
This is interesting:
Studies funded by the Biochemistry Program of the U.S. Army Research Office's Life Sciences Division found that Arthrobotrys oligospora, a predatory fungus that secretes nanoparticles, stimulates the immune system and also kills cancerous tumors."
YEAH!
"Naturally occurring nanoparticles have drawn increasing interest from scientific communities...nanoparticles have demonstrated unique optical, thermal and electronic properties. In addition, their small size allows them to easily cross cell membranes, an essential requirement for cancer therapy."

Another:
"Trichoderma virens is a haploid, filamentous hyphomycete (a subclass of fungi).
T. virens possesses combinations of traits within a single organism that are usually associated with distinct species of symbionts or pathogens. In addition to the production of novel secondary metabolites (of interest to the pharmaceutical and agricultural sectors), T. virens has the capacity to degrade hazardous compounds, including pesticides, polyphenols, and polyaromatic hydrocarbons, and to sequester heavy metals."
That Sounds Good!
"T. virens possesses metabolic diversity that exceeds that of most of the extant sequenced fungal genomes. The genome sequence and subsequent functional and comparative genetic analyses will provide a context for understanding the enigmatic biology of this fungus."

By the way, thanks for props threader! : )
