Re: Candida Infection - an Underlying Cause of Celiac Disease

Thanks for the study. I don't know why it took so long since the first study about it appeared in 2003. I hope this research opens a door to recognize the influence of candida in the intestine and the medicine finally accepts its implications.

The big question is : Does the immune system will stop attacking Gliadin after eliminating the germinated form of candida ?? If the immune system refreshes over time, it will be possible to eat Gluten again normally, but if an attack to Gliadin persists as a result of being memorized, then a gluten free diet will be the only way to avoid villi damage and gluten reactions.

Gliadin and Hwp1 are seen the same thing by the immune system. Hope is the only thing we can have.
