Seborrhoeic dermatitis

GET RID OF FACIAL SEB DERM IN 3 STEPS:

1. WASH FACE DAILY WITH LIQUID SOAP

(I use Dr. Bronners. I think since seb derm causes our skin to be flaky, we think of it as already being dry and we don't exactly want to dry out further with more soap. The reality is that the more oily our skin is, the more food the yeast has to eat and cause a nice red and flaky flare up)

2. MOISTURIZE THE FRESHLY CLEANED SKIN WITH LOTRIMIN ULTRA

(Specifically lotrimin ULTRA. Butenafine Hydrochloride has been proven to kill the yeast Malassezia better than any other antifungal, and after having tried them all, I couldn't agree more. I original found this out from another good samaritan who wrote about it on a forum and I can't remember where I saw it or who he / she was... But they are my hero. It's over the counter and available everywhere.)

3. STOP ASSOCIATING THE PROBLEM TO YOUR DIET

I lost tons of weight trying to adhere to a candida diet, and became totally OCD about finding a food sensitiviy for 2 years. It's good to eat healthy, and we'll obviously look better and feel better for doing so. But it's not healthy to starve yourself and feel like some parasitic yeast overgrowth living inside of you preying on every carb that enters your body.

Just wash your face, get rid of that oil, and then put Lotrimin Ultra on the problem areas. And then if you want to further moisturize be sure to use oil-free moisturizers.

And if you're in the middle of a flare-up now... Wash and Lotrimin Ultra morning and night! :)
