Hi, first time responding so hope this gets through. I have a video on youtube.com just put drsteenblock and ALS in for a review of the causes of ALS. Knowing that there is a chronic gut inflammation that has gone unrecognized by everyone is one of the keys to getting better. Finding and fixing the CSF-blood barrier leak is the second item to try to correct. Usually it is found in as a spinal stenosis between C3 and C7 which can be helped by a neck brace, lasers, and PRP, stem cells and hyaluronic acid and if these fail then perhaps even surgery. Heavy metal poisoning, clostridia, yeast, etc are involved in the gut and perhaps a biofilm. This is the most complicated area to fix. The cord and the ileum are low on oxygen so be sure that he has had a nocturnal oximetry test and if he fails that then he should be on oxygen. Giving supplemental oxygen at 2 liters per min for a day or two would be a good test to see if this could be helpful. Lots to know and do to get better. Dr Steenblock
