Constant bleeding and clots

So I got the Mirena inserted back in June of this past year, no kids at all, and the process was painful. I had my period the next cylce and then skipped 2 cycles. After that, I got my period HEAVY, nonstop bleeding and using about 9 overnight pads. This happened for literally 5 weeks straight. I go to the OB GYN, thinking he was going to check me, but didnt. He said it's normal. He had prescribed me medroxyprogestore for 5 days to regulate the period. Within the 3rd day of taking it, my period stopped to only spotting. Two weeks later, I get my period again, I just enetered the 7th week with my period. Now, I use 13 pads a day. It is very painful and the clots are HUGE! I started taking the same medication again to see if it stops, its day #5 and it's getting even worse. I don't know what to do.
