Re: Coconut oil: effective for external use for candida?

I use coconut oil, but it's not a cure. What's worked best for me is a 3 part application: shower and dry off thoroughly. Apply a small amount of ACV to cotton ball and dab on skin, covering entire effected area. Full disclosure: ACV stings... Let dry then apply 2 or 3 drops of tea tree oil to another cotton ball and dab on skin. Let dry and then cover entire area in a thin layer of coconut oil. Reapply coconut oil after every shower, every time you use the bathroom and before going to bed, ideally after you have showered.

Another thing that had been very helpful for my candida and also just a great general detox is a hot bath with 1 cup epsom salt, 1/4 cup baking soda, 1/2-1 cup ACV and a few drops of tea tree oil. Just soak in bath until water gets cold. Don't use any soap ( you may prefer to properly wash in shower prior to bath). After bath rinse off quickly in shower and then do the 3 step application above.

Again, no cure, but it's an excellent band-aid! Good luck!
