You don't usually hear much about how toxic drugs are in people, until a newer drug is being proposed for the market. A recent example of this is one company talking about coating an anti-fungal drug in a fatty sheath to try and reduce or eliminate the side effects of Amphotericin B.
So, if you're going to take an antifungal drug like this, you should know that the doctor expects you to have these type of reactions, but he's not going to tell you about it. He'll just cross his fingers and watch you "shake and bake".
