Will sub-zero temps kill ringworm spores.

We are in the process of ridding our house of ringworm after a kitten we recently purchased tested positive for ringworm. My question is, will putting items such as cat towers outside in the sub-zero winter weather we have kill the ringworm spores? We have been having wind chills of 20 to 30 below.
