Sorry, if asking legitimate questions is hostile then I am stumped. No hostility was intended, only trying to explain why 10 frequencies would be an improvement.

Your original post left out a lot of information such as what frequency generator? what 10 frequencies? as well as many others.

As a result, I assumed that you were asking a general question of why 10 frequencies would be needed. That is what I tried to offer an explanation of. Also, as to why you might not have had as good of results as you wanted.
