Thank you, and high five! I went as far as emailing the biology department at the U of Florida to let them know that they had an errant staff member from physics claiming those were worms, and misusing biology terminology as well, they were aware but helpless. I expelled one also, looked like a chicken foot- was not a worm. Your explanation makes good sense.
