I would most definitely get it removed now. I had my first one put in Jan. 2008 for the 5 years it was wonderful no side effects no unwanted pregnancies and no periods so of course I wanted to use
mirena again. I got my second one put in November 2013 and had problems with it from day one. I ignored the side effects for quiet sometime
Hoping that it will go away and it was just the hormones.
After getting it checked a few times because of side effects and cramps and ect. I could still sense something wasn't roght.
I felt like I was going crazy! Finally a new doctor decided to give me a ultra sound to check things out and today I found out that my
Iud is in place but I have a growth right where it sits. They don't know if it's a cancerous tumor or a non cancerous or exactly what it is. I would most definitely listen to your body! I should of & now I don't even know if i will be able to have another baby.
