Anyway, I have to stay alkaline. I drink over a quart of water a day so have lots of trips to the bathroom where I can check my urine PH. Every time it gets below 7.2, before long I start to droop. I guess that with adrenal & thyroid weaknesses my body just can't cope with the extra stress of an acidic body. If I keep my alkalinity at 7.4 to 7.6 I have much more energy. Btw you don't want to get too alkaline. I read one doctor saying too consistently high alkalinity can lead to serious lymphatic problems.
Also btw I don't think baking soda is a good idea for more than occasional use. I noticed it gave me some little pain in one kidney then saw on the net that it can cause kidney problems. Nothing alkalizes like fresh greens and lemon juice.
