Re: Headaches after Root Canal
So glad I found this "page"....I have had dental NIGHTMARE experiences...had a bridge put in place on back tooth/crown and it hurt from day one....4 trips to dentist who put the bridge on, he said he found nothing...flossing between the bridge and tooth next to it always produced blood, even the original dentist drew blood when he flossed the area and all he said was... "gosh, it shouldn't bleed".. he sent me to a
root canal specialist who x-rayed it and said he found NOTHING wrong...I tried a new dentist who 'buffed' it down on two different occasions, still had pain... went to yet another dentist who did TWO
root canals (very agressive) on the crown...STILL had pain...ended up going to an oral surgeon who suspected the tooth had been cracked for some time and he ended up pulling the bridge/crown...I had invested over FIVE THOUSAND dollars in all this and NOTHING to show for it.. I now have pain in the area where the tooth was and the oral surgeon said it was neuralgia!!!
Last October I had a
root canal done on another crown on the other side of my mouth (only place left to chew) and have had pain since, am having headaches every day and I NEVER used to have headaches.. I have 2thousand invested in this tooth!
