Removal of excipients
From the CEO of Doctor's Best products (posted on Amazon)
GKB says:
Several months ago readers following this stream raised issues with the use of magnesium stearate in Doctor's Best Brain Magnesium. At that time I made a commitment to review formulations and reformulate where practical. Those comments caused us to take a long and hard look at mag stearate. While some level of excipient is often required to properly make the capsule of tablet, we have found that quite frequently excipients can be removed. That being the case, I wanted to report our progress in removing magnesium stearate. We have also removed several other excipients including but not limited to Rice Powder, Vegetable Stearine, Annatto, Dicalcium Phosphate from various products.
Below is a list indicating our progress in removing magnesium stearate and the anticipated ship dates from our facility to retailers. It will take a little time before our reformulated products reach the shelves, but they are on the way!!! Please note that Best Brain Magnesium has been shipping since late December and should be available very soon.
