Re: Connection between hair loss and fatigue
In the HM detox groups there are some really tough cases of chemical sensitivity MCS. My heart really goes out to those folks. Mine was just starting when my health was at its worst--panic/asthma attack when smell certain odors such as hair spray. You'll really want to get on top of that problem asap!
For example, one of the moderators of the yahoo frequent dose chelation group could only eat 6 foods when she was at her worst. She was sensitive to almost everything, including support supplements that on paper should have been helpful. She chelated fairly regularly for 5 yrs and seemed to get back > 80% of her health. It seems to usually take 3+ yrs for those folks to get >75% recovered where as those with out MCS seem to do it in 2 yrs of less. This woman's progress was unusually good. I followed the cases of her and her husband during their active years in the group. I found them to be compelling. It certainly was not as easy as it might seem from reading her update.

There is no doubt that Thorne adrenal cortex has the best reputation for those with MCS in the detox groups. People without MCS can usually tolerate any brand and some who don't have anxiety do better with a combo of cortex and whole adrenal extract, including me.
This is based on Cutler's writings on liver support by one of the FDC group mods.

This guy had one of the most remarkable recoveries I've followed in my 5 yrs in the groups. I'm fairly sure he is a hospital medical professional of some type. He and his brother--a mod of FDC--grew up on an orchard and used to play in the empty barrels of pesticide.

I mention Brad not because his experience is common in the HM groups. It was not. I mention him because of his dogged search for additional clues! Things were really terrible for him at times, including when he overdid it with SAMe, one of the most dangerous supplements due to risk of suicidal thoughts.
People who get better are those who continue look for clues and take *thoughtful and reasonable*, not erratic steps to address the problems. With such difficult cases they don't just blindly accept the view of one person --doctor, advertiser, support group member, etc. Get lots of opinions and do your own digging. It will help you to ask better questions when you speak to your medical pros.
