Re: Taking iodine and got skin cancer
Wow, sorry to hear.. that is pretty frightening.
I'm not 100% sure if this has anything to do with cancer but whenever I messed around with pregnenolone dosage by taking over 20 mg a day, these lumps/sores would develop behind my ears/on my breasts and stay there for a day or two before disappearing. I eventually connected the two together and stopped messing around with the hormones. I never got to find out exactly what the lumps/sores were since they came and went so quickly but assuming it was the beginnings of cancer, the question then becomes what stopped it in its tracks: high
Iodine intake from seafood or plenty of veggies rich in antioxidants and anticancer compounds or maybe just the simple fact that I'm still young and it is relatively easier to kill off cancer cells at my age. But if prevention (or even inhibition) of cancer can be manipulated with diet, then the Gerson Therapy may help. I wouldn't dare proclaim that it is a definite cure for cancer and I wouldn't be so narrow-minded as to suggest doing the Gerson Therapy and the Gerson Therapy only but at the same time, it doesn't hurt to include veggie
juicing (well, unless your mother has kidney or adrenal problems and can't handle the high potassium intake). The benefits of raw veggie
juicing include leaving nutrients intact and being able to take in a lot more vegetables than you normally can by removing the fiber (which paradoxically enough, could cause constipation when too much is eaten). But I wouldn't juice with cruciferous vegetables; in my opinion, they should not be consumed raw due to the potential antithyroid effects of goitrogens. Instead, they should be eaten cooked since cooking them helps reduce the goitrogens.
