Re: Has anyone dealt with a family member having Dysbiosis as well?

What tests have you had done, how was your condition diagnosed to the stomach, have you had an endoscopy? Did you do breath tests. Have you had a second opinion? Is it sibo, is it gut dysbiosis, how was you diagnosed? If you have bacteria in the stomach your doctor can send you to have tests done to have cultures taken, bacteria in the stomach can be diagnosed at hospital. Isolation from the cultures is important to match the correct Antibiotic to deal with the problem. Bacteria can easily become resistant to some Antibiotics . Usually Antibiotic rotation is advised as long term Antibiotic treatment is usually necessary to eradicate the problem and to reduce the chances of resistance.
