It did seem to be working but it isn't any more.

The most recent replied threads are not at the top with the new hot thread order, there is a most recent reply link which shows a more recent reply than the thread at the top.

It is not working at all well IMO. I don't know what to believe when hot threads are not the hotest threads at all. It is just creating work and a big distraction having to question the basic forum functionality.
