Lyme and Started 4 mg of lugols. Doctor said stop after TSH rose.

Have chronic neuro lyme, started 4 mg of lugols. Doctor said stop after TSH rose. 

Now I feel more hypo (cold extremeties)  than before starting the iodine. I'm afraid to restart. What should I do?
