What is wrong with my ear?

Some years ago, my ear got clogged with wax because I was using ear plugs with baffles at the gym. I did not go to have it taken care of quickly enough, but when I did, a lot of wax came out. At that time, my ear was popping and my balance was bad.

Today, that ear still bothers me. Regularly it feels plugged. Sometimes, when I wiggle my ear with my little finger, it comes unplugged, or less plugged. I believe that there is a swelling issue. A lymph node under my jaw and right below my ear is usually swollen. That happens in conjunction with the degree of ear stuff. Does that mean an infection?

I've been to two ear specialists who do not see anything wrong and my hearing is fine. Of course they want me to continue coming in for regular check ups. Not likely.

Holding hydrogen peroxide in my ear for 15 minutes did help. Didn't notice much difference using ear candling. Is that the same as ear coning?

I'd like to be able to identify exactly what the problem is so that I can seek remedies appropriately. Can anyone help me with this? Have I permanently damaged my ear?
