I'm suffering from hypoglycemia induced mental difficulties such as insomnia and personality disorders. I've tried eating paleo for some time, which helped, but I seemed to be somehat addicted to fruits and chocolates, and the simple carbs kept putting my blood Sugar out of balance.
If I stop eating carbs, I get mentally very slow and find it hard to find mental and physical energy, and I get less resourceful and have less ideas. I'm also very stressed and have a lot of physical symptoms from liver and kidney dysfunction.
So do you have a recommendation for a diet? Should I eat paleo with simple carbs from fruits, or keep to a ketogenic diet though it takes my energy? Or would eating non grains such as potatoes be an option to keep the blood Sugar steady?
