Re: How to deal with die-off

For > 95% of Human existence, the human diet was low in carbohydrates. Nobody is killing themselves with low carb. High carbohydrates are a product of the neolithic age and high fructose, glucose, sucrose, a product of the most recent 100 years. Obesity, diabetes, cancer, atherosclerosis, alzheimer's disease, dementia, autism, etc., are all being connected to our high carb, high sugar, low fat diets, which are failing.

Shifting to 80% carbs, 10% protein and 10% fat, is a recipe for poor health, unless you're going to run 80-100 miles per week to burn off the sugars.

Google "paleo" or "low carb" or "ketosis" and you'll learn more about what diets are considered healthier and more progressive.
