That's the bummer part. I don't know. But true: acanthocephalan worms are from the phylum rotifera, and are known as spiny headed worms...if you have the intestinal fortitude and a sharp scalpel, open up one of those fat ones (slice halfway through, long-wise). you should find a worm inside with a spiny head, kinda like a tape worm. Supposedly ivermectin, pyrantel pamoate and febendazole are good...whatever you're doing certainly seems to be eliminating them though...and the eggs are able to dry up and be carried on the wind (barely visible size) and they adhere to you so you ingest them if not careful.
