WARNING: Iodine Disasters

I have been personally banned from the Iodine forum due to my adverse reaction to Lugols that has left me couch ridden for the last 6 months.

I see many health books, information on google and many users posting on this forum about the use of high doses of Iodine as a harmless supplement. I have been PMing with at least 3 users who I will not mention that have had the exact same reaction as I have from taking even just a few drops of Lugols Iodine in a supplement.

If you decided to take a chemically formulated substance (Man-made) organic or not there is a chance you will suffer extreme side effects. Some people are sensitive to ANY kind of chemical if it is a pharmaceutical or a supplement.

If you are on the fence or not, do yourself a favor and search the Iodine Forum for adverse reactions and you will see a ton of them. If you have a job, in school, and have a good life don't take the risk its not worth it. I went from a 24 year old man in the best shape of my life to barely being able to walk up a set of stairs.

Some people do very well with iodine, make sure you will be one of them or it might be the last supplement you ever take. And to those of you suggesting to everyone to detox using iodine you need to be very careful of making this suggestion because not everyone is genetically disposed to handle it. Tweet
