Hi. I have the same problem. LIke Somer always says, it's a lot easier to fast than it is to eat right! I think it is a gradual process (at least it has been for me) and I try to incorporate as many healthy things into my diet each day as I can. I mean, I went from a typical day of eating nothing but processed foods (truly - I don't think I had any fruit or veggies in the house most days) to my current day's meals of fruit until noon, and a salad for at least one of my meals. No, I'm not totally healthy yet, but I'm a lOT better than I was!
So don't beat yourself up and just do the best you can, maybe incorporate one healthy habit at a time into your diet (e.g. fruit until noon - sorry to be a broken record about that, but I truly believe it is one of the most important diet habits anyone can adopt. Just read "Fit for Life, not Fat for Life" by Harvey Diamond if you don't believe me.
