Red Racoon Eyes with Puffiness

I went on a 19 day mild (I thought) liver cleanse over a month ago and soon after I was done with it, I began to get a red rash on my eyelids and around both eyes which becomes very dry and the skin will flake. Besides that my eyelids are puffy and pulling the corners of my eyes down along with the lower lid. This has been going on for about a month now. I went in for a consultation with an acupuncturist and she said that the liver is related to the eyes. The redness has reached my cheek bones. If anyone has had these symptoms and has gotten rid of the problem, please, please respond.
