elevate-
Latin ēlevātus lightened, lifted up (past participle of ēlevāre), equivalent to ē- e-1+ lev- light + -ātus -ate

Too bad the words he chose to present have nothing to do with the Semitic word El. He would've been better off mentioning Jor-El and Kal-El instead
