Re: sources of disease
I disagree wholeheartedly. How many people have walked into my office, they are very careful with their diets, exercise, even professional martial artists with cancer or heart disease. They swear they are doing everything right, yet there they are with serious illness.
The problem with "alternative" and conventional medicine is the exact same problem. The false axiom that something within the diet or environment is messing people up. Total "hogwash".
I'm so tired of reading this or that study that contract each other, sometimes coming out at the same time in the same journal.
Frankly I rarely pay attention to studies anymore. It is all based upon false assumptions as above and the grand false assumption that emotions do not affect our health or perhaps grudgingly may admit some minor role.
This is precisely why
Science continues to search for Ponce de Leon's fountain after over 100 years of useless and expensive research; the few real cures they have discovered come from
Antibiotics . But go down the list of chronic illness. Not one has a cure, no not one. They may soften the symptoms or maintain but that is about all.
I'm not dising a good diet or exercise but they are but a secondary factor in the "sources of disease".
Daily I see
Science turned over on its head. Yet very few will listen, they instead must defend a lifetime of frantic study rather than "get real and open your eyes".
That is why there are millions of people on curezone,
Science is not working.
These assumptions have made health care into some kind of make-everybody-a-victim, falsely leading us to not take responsibility for our thoughts and feelings.
Honestly, In my specialty it is not uncommon to meet clients that would rather die that take responsibility for their emotions. And indeed they do die miserably.
