In the meantime, if anyone has any ideas re Beck's Blood Electrifier, I'm still open. The two body parts I've thought of attaching the electrodes to with the velcro strap are the neck and abdomen. It's just that I'm really not expecting my rat to cooperate, which is why the Spooky2 may be the better option.
