Please Help!! Seborrheic Dermatitis?

Hello!
I'm having a bit of an issue (ran into this site when I googled my symptoms etc.) I've been having some issues for months now. It started first with a sinus infection and tooth infection, went on anti-biotics etc. Sinus infection got better but my entire face swelled up red, bumps appeared to my chest etc. and I started getting this 'crawling bugs on skin' feeling on my face. I went to the ER and they said it was a reaction to the Antibiotics , so I was put on prednisone and other medications. My sinus infection got better, my tooth infection also got better but the crawling feeling remained months later. I thought perhaps it was my skin-care, so I changed it up, but nothing seemed to help. About a month ago the crawling feeling spread to my scalp, so now it's on my face and my scalp as well. I went to see my dermatologist who said I have Seborrhea Dermatitis, I was given a medicated cream and shampoo but none of it has really helped. But when I started using the shampoo then brown balls and 'lines' started falling out (about 15 or more the first few washes). I went back to my dermatologist and he said it was sebum (they're brown in color).
So I continued with the shampoo etc. but the crawling sensation just isn't getting any better at all! Does Seborrhea dermatitis cause that sensation?? I also took an image of what the doc called sebum that fell out of my hair.

The ones before this looked more 'round' and clumpy but this one was the most recent. please help!!
