Re: paleo madness
I was doing the 'paleo' diet 25 years ago.
Since then I have come to my senses and learned what the dealio is. If you care to be educated you can ask away.
Be polite and I might spend time to educate you.
There might be some genetic aberrations who can eat this diet, but the rest of them lie and cheat and eat ice cream and coffee on the side when no one is looking because their glycogen supplies get too low. New websites have sprouted up all over the place for 'recovering paleo' syndrome.
Getting most of your calories from fruit actually is a paleo diet but it is not what most of the morons here advertise it to be.
I really couldn't give a f*** what you eat, it's just fun to see people parading around here as if they have hard scientific proof of what dead people ate 50,000 years ago. Shit man, history has been re-written about what happened 100 years ago. Wars and slaughter have been the result of lies about what happened 2000 years ago, so 50,000 years? no way jose.
Paleo CAN be a temporary fix for serious problems. Short term results are rife and apparent, but look beyond that and people create more problems for themselves with the cure.
Long term results, not so much. They ALL scatter and look for the next miracle.
antithetical.
The evidence is nonsense, little molecular scraps of meat next to a gravesite 50,000 years old does not do much to convince me.
Apes are the best evidence and they are alive.
Fruits and veggies ok, you don't need to sell me because you're not really doing a paleo diet, you're grain free, big woopie doopie. Fix your gut up so you can eat some grains. Or if you're nice I'll clue you in how to preapare them properly.
And stop using words like anithetical; it is offensive to a well-read person such as myself.
Strangely, 5-sloth has it best because raw meat is the least damaging, but it's completely insane to eat like that.
