I needed to add also that my husband is 70 and he has seizures he's been taking coconut oil for his memory. It has helped his memory some but it has helped his seizures even more. He used to have 2 per week. He sometimes goes a month without any. He takes Tegretol 200 mg 2 1/2 3 times a day, max dose. If he takes eno ugh medicine to stop his seizures he would be unconscious. The coconut oil is the only thing we'very ever found that helps his seizure/ epilepsy disorder.Nutiva brand at GNC. I no longer own my GNC store I sold it and retired this summer. I also don't have any connection to Nutiva coconut oil except that we take it.
One other thing has helped my husband also. He has neuropathy in his feet. The pain was so bad he said it was like someone was nailing nails into his feet. Acetyl l Carnitine has helped the pain in his feet. He takes 500mg morning and before bed. He tried Lyrica it helped some but not as much as the acetyl l-carnitine. He uses GNC brand and Now Foods brand and either one is good.
My mucus problem is so much better.I couldn't talk without clearing my throat constantly. I coughed, gagged, spit sometimes 16 hours a day. It was miserable. I don't believe I've coughed at all to day. The change has truly been remarkable. It took me 45 years to find help for this problem. Coconut oil has stopped it.
